Van Deer Skis – Ski brand of Marcel Hirscher

Marcel Hirscher finished his career at age of 30 in September 2019. He was absolutely dominant on the slopes with eight consecutive overall FIS World Cup wins from 2012 to 2019. Moreover, he has also another six world cup wins in Slalom and another six world cup wins in Giant Slalom. Three Olympics medals (two golds from 2018 and one silver from 2014), seven gold medals from World Championships, and countless wins in world cup races. The end of his career at a relatively young age surprised many of his fans but he could hardly achieve more.

New life – new Van Deer skis

Two and half years later Marcel Hirscher is back in the ski business. A long-time Atomic athlete is now trying to build another phenomenon that will equal his sports achievements. This time as the founder of a new ski brand Van Deer [check the company site here].

Van Deer skis is an Austrian company oriented on individual series made from local Austrian materials.

Van Deer skis models range consists of:

Race skis: GS World Cup – SL World Cup
Pro series: Pro
Junior race skis: GS-JR Pro – SL-JR Pro
Tour skis: Tour Carbon
Freeride skis: Free 98 – Free 108

Van Deer skis are currently available in Brundl Sports Shops in Austria, but we hope that soon they will be available in other international markets as well.

We will see if Marcel Hirscher will be as successful with his own ski brand as he was on Atomic skis at the slopes. At the moment, three racers, Henrik Kristoffersen, Timon Haugan, and Charlie Raposo will race on Van Deer equipment in the next World Cup season.
